Selection of ice:
  
Flake ice: normally is irregular flake with thickness of 0.8mm - 2.8mm and side length of 3cm below . CMRE could make the crushed ice the same size as rice grain as requested by customer. Flake ice could fully contact with the object and have good fresh-keeping effect since it is easy to melt and fast to cool down the object. It is applicable to preservation of seafood, meat, vegetables, fruits, flowers and concrete cooling, chemical reactor cooling, precooling of slaughter house, water cooling for water curtain air conditioning, and processing of aquatic products, meat, dairy products etc. CMRE makes flake ice makers with ice capacity of 0.2T-69T/24H.
  
Block ice: With 25KG or 50KG for every block, it could be used as a whole one or after smashed. Block ice melts slowly and lasts for a long time in cooling. It is suitable for chemical cooling, inshore fishing, aquatic products processing, fresh food preservation.
  
Tube ice: The diameter and the length could be optional. Since tube ice melts slowly and meets hygienic requirement, it could be used in cooling alcohol and food industry.
  
Selection of ice maker: The labeled ice capacity is assumed under set working condition. But ice production will gradually decrease as the ambient temperature and inlet water temperature increases. Usually the maximum ice production is slightly higher than 80% of the capacity in hot summer. Please consider the maximum ice production and  reduction in hot summer when choosing the ice maker models.
  
Selection of parts: Some of the key components of the flake ice maker like evaporator, compressor should be concerned. It is important to pay close attention to the material, machining precision, annealing quality of the evaporator. The deformation of evaporator will result in failures such as inner surface scratch, corrosion, refrigerant leakage, wear of the blade and bearing,  shaft fracture and motor burnout etc.
